Have you heard of P2P? No doubt that these places can let you download anime movies for free, this is no free lunch in this world really. When you use their services, there is a way you would have to “pay” them which is to view their sponsored ads. You get them through adware that are secretly installed onto your PC. Beware of other harmful elements like computer viruses and spyware. And not forgetting about the slow file transfer.
Cosplay has won more and more people’s like and it has spread at a fast speed. A few years ago there were only a few people familiar with cosplay, but now there are only a few people who do not know cosplay. How badly do you want to learn Japanese fast? It’s all a matter of your priorities. If you can learn it for a few hours daily, then it will take you much less time to become fluent in it than if you are going to practice for an hour daily or even less. How to make time to learn a language? Stop doing things that aren’t very important – watching TV, using Facebook or Twitter and so on.
Another pet peeve of mine, and one a lot of “elitists” promote. Apparently, a “good reason” for learning a language resides in either your heritage or business. Learning Japanese to KissAnime isn’t considered a good reason by a lot of snooty people, which is hogwash. Here’s my reasons as to why I decided to learn the languages I did.
I think it’s already there. “Indie Games” can refer to independently developed titles not released by a big studio (EA, Ubisoft, etc) or XBLIGs (Xbox LIVE Indie Games). In both cases, it’s true. Easiest case-in-point is Minecraft and its XBLIG clone, CastleMinerZ. Minecraft was not put out by your big studios (EA is the FOX of gaming). It was put out by an “indie” studio. Instant success, even during it’s Alpha… programming in JAVA, on the PC. Fast forward to the Xbox LIVE Arcade release, which sells like hotcakes.
Ahh yes, the Throwdowns. Apparently this concept has caught on a bit, which is flattering, but it should be made clear that we pioneered the concept. Actually, it was forums members Osiris and Omega who mostly came up with the idea. I consider the Throwdown to be at the core of the site and you’re not a real “Bully” unless you’ve been to several of them and traded blows with your fellow members.
If you are a librarian who wants to capture the interest of teens who hang out at the library, try some of these tips. Maybe you can get those kids off myspace and encourage them to participate in some cool teen programs!
