But you see, you don’t. You can, but you don’t have to. If you work from real life, think of a real character and lie. Change them to suit your story.
Send him a letter or email praising his work and asking a relevant question. Mention something that he’s discussed elsewhere that you’re also interested in – a shared friluftsliv, for example. Slowly build a rapport. After a while, casually mention that you’ve written a book and ask if he’d be interested in seeing it. If he says no, continue the relationship anyway – he might change his mind or know someone else who’s interested.
Telling he was the best ever. Many women think this is a compliment. It really isn’t. Most men only think this makes you sound like you have been with a lot of men.
Alcohol and Drugs. Studies have shown that teens that use alcohol are more likely to get into car accidents, have problems in school and get into fights than their peers who do not use alcohol. The bad news is, however, that teens often find a way to get alcohol and drugs if they really want it, but don’t make it easy for them. Do not purchase these items for your teenaged children (or any minor for that matter). Teens who don’t drink often cite their parents’ influence as the main reason for saying no, so don’t think they don’t listen to you. They just might not want you to know it!
You need to work out how someone appears to others – what they look like, what they do, their work, hobbies and everything else that make up their public self. But everyone has internal characteristics too. You need to know how they feel, what makes them tick, their likes, dislikes, fears and favours.
Keep her happy rule #2 – Notice the little things. Women are all about the details. Does she have a favorite candy, a favorite flower, color, etc.? Get creative, surprise her with little momentos, she’ll appreciate these things. I’ve met guys who try to impress girls with big gifts, but the reality is the women appreciate the smaller gifts a lot more in general.
Coming up with new content constantly can be a difficult task. You need to love writing and research. If you are not knee-deep passionate about the subject of your ezine, then don’t bother starting it. That lack of passion will show up in your writing and your cancellation rates will be high. You want your readers to be just as excited as you are and you want that to show through in your writing.
