After some debating and discussing this issue with my friend, I started to agree with her that there must be a large population on young entrepreneurs who are stuck in this gray area of not knowing if they are entrepreneurs or not.
Entrepreneurship is like being on a roller coaster ride. It has it ups and downs. Getting up to the top of the first loop where the ride speeds off is often slow and can be hard work. Do you have the means to motivate yourself in the early stages before the business actually takes off? Do you have the patience to ride out the times when you’re in a down period? Keeping your vision in front of you and surrounding yourself with positive people can help. Attending business networking sessions or industry seminars will help you stay connected, positive and motivated. Remember, Rome was not built in a day.
Have a “what I want to be when I grow up” party with your child and their friends; where everyone comes to the party as what they want to be when the grow up. Children play the role and parents encourage by catering to the children’s needs. You can give prizes to the kids for acting their parts and encourage the role-playing. This will help them see themselves now as they could potentially become in the future, bringing the feelings of success of what it would feel like. By the parents catering to the “grown-ups” needs, the kids get the idea of what respectful/professional treatment would seem like when they actually reach their goals.
Another avenue of this sort of part time Single mom is through Google AdWords. Let’s say you are promoting face lotion. Through Google AdWords you will need to type in a few keywords so when people are searching for your product, your ad will show up on the side. Keep in mind! This can be very expensive! When keywords are competitive, Google can charge you up to three dollars every time some one clicks on your ad! So if one thousand people click on your ad, you could be paying three thousand dollars. Don’t get me wrong, there are a lot of people out there who make a seven figure living doing this, but it can be difficult for some who choose to do this line of part time Work from home.
An entrepreneur is truly a unique individual. Entrepreneurs find it difficult or impossible to work for someone else, although they do work for their customers/clients. They are willing to put everything on the line for the passion and love of seeing their enterprise grow… and sometimes live with several failures.
C. Daily methods of operation (D.M.O) is the key element in working from home. This allows you to have your priorities set out and therefore allowing you to manage your day. Have a diary with your tasks for that day set out before your day starts, prioritise jobs that you need to complete and work through these in order of importance, do just sit down to start work and then scratch your head wondering what you should or where you should start on.
Most of the costs associated with working from home may include costs such as the internet, a laptop and any other materials depending on which type of home based work you are intending to join.
You need to begin to have somebody continually look at the finances and set prices, manage some of the employees and to stop the butterflies in your stomach as this is somewhere you’re never been before.
